Pretty mid but that’s my feeling about most Radiohead side projects and solo albums. How's everyone feeling on Cutouts?

See, I like the drumming. Seemed to stand out more than on their previous records. It’s fine. The drumming is still mildly irritating.

Overall, think there are some good tracks on the album, but have only listened through once, so not terribly familiar yet.
Pressing is okay. Has the typical white vinyl crackle on both sides. Not sure if the black pressing is any better.
I still think Wall of Eyes is the best album of the three. Cutouts starts kind of slow for me, but I think it ends on a high note.
I kind of see what @Joe Mac and @zdkaiser are saying on the drumming, it does seem a bit brighter this time around. It kinda drowns some sounds on several songs that I really like...
Bodies Laughing does feel like classic Radiohead(I know it's an old song) I kind of like when Thom reverts back to his Radiohead days on several Smile songs. Something about the voice that takes me back...
Also I've been trying to get some tickets for the "Everything" tour in Japan but haven't been able, you need a Japanese phone number and account... If anyone knows how to buy or get them, please let me know
It's funny, The Smile didn't click for me until the second album; all I'm seeing since is it doesn't hold a candle. Tastes are subjective, but I'm clearly in the minority.I feel like if you took all the best songs from the second and third albums and made a single album, it still wouldn't best anything off the first album.
Yeah I mean I'm sure a case could be made for any of the three. I haven't seen any reviews of any of them so I had no idea what the prevailing thoughts were on them. But I've tried with the Wall and Cutouts and they both just leave me wanting to listen to the debut. It's funny, The Smile didn't click for me until the second album; all I'm seeing since is it doesn't hold a candle. Still haven't listened to Cutouts yet.
