So... Kid A 20th Anniversary is next month, beginning to wonder if we'll actually see anything come of it just yet. Part of me wonders if COVID put a dent in plans.
It would be a pretty big missed opportunity not to capitalize on the anniversary the same way they did with OKC. Although maybe I'm just always thirsty for new Radiohead music to absorbIm guessing that, because they didn’t specifically say re-release, more cool stuff they’d found and wanted to share for the anniversary, that it’s all been covered off, or will be next month, in the public library. I hope not and that there are fancy versions of it and Amnesiac both in the pipeline...

I've only been doing the whole vinyl thing for a couple of years now, so OKNOTOK had already come out (and was one of the first albums I bought), and I figured I wouldn't buy Kid A or Amnesiac since the 20th was approaching and I wanted to see what was in the works (they're now the only one's I don't have on vinyl except Pablo Honey, which I'm fine just having the CD of).
I figure I'll wait a few more months, give in and buy them, then immediately have Radiohead announce the delayed, amazing 20th-anniversary box set.
Phoebe Bridgers covers Radiohead's "Fake Plastic Trees" in a church: Watch
Phoebe Bridgers covered Radiohead's "Fake Plastic Trees" for BBC Radio 1's Phil Taggart, with help from Arlo Parks. Watch the video now.consequenceofsound.net
I like Phoebe Bridgers but I hate when people cover one of a band most obvious choices. I'd rather hear her take on Radiohead track that I haven't heard 5 million times in my life.I didn't like this. Felt a bit monotonous and lifeless.
(Though I have to say I'm a bit biased on Radiohead covers because most of them suck )
What's the difference between these two?I have this one that I could possibly part with since I have lpkida1

Aha, and does anyone know where I can get a guaranteed Optimal press of Amnesiac. Every single one I've tried to get has been GZ and they've all been totally effed up. I finally gave up, my copy is a mess. Cogs lists like 118 for sale but I'm betting most are actually the GZ press.it is, the uniqueness of the code and the fact it’s rarer because that was only for sale in the UK make it more valuable. The other one is the European with a generic Parlophone code. My understanding is they’re the exact same press done at the same time otherwise.
Is that Bill Bailey?
