What lies beyond?
A six foot hole and some worms?

SPILL!I did a thing. It wasn't the thing I actually set out to do - which now must wait - but I saw an opportunity and lusty thoughts won out.
Gonna be twinsies with @kvetcha. I've been wanting to try an MC cart, and they accepted the offer I made on this which made it as if I got the table for free.SPILL!
Stop giving my wife ideas.A six foot hole and some worms?
I’m feeling pretty settled now. However, I had an “ideal” system in my head in the 1990’s and I’ve parsed together the vintage gear to complete it now. Thiel speakers and Bryston pre/DAC/phono/amp stack.Do you ever catch the dragon?
Just be prepared to go slightly insane before you settle into a rhythm with it.Gonna be twinsies with @kvetcha. I've been wanting to try an MC cart, and they accepted the offer I made on this which made it as if I got the table for free.

Hope you don't mind if I hit you up if I run into trouble!Just be prepared to go slightly insane before you settle into a rhythm with it.
Also, I highly recommend having a full set of allen wrenches handy, you’ll need a range of sizes (imperial) for the various adjustments.
Also also, keep your ear to the ground for a Cruise Control or a Pro-Ject Speed Box. Not having to mess with the pulley on this deck is a godsend.
Of course! Also, beware the undamped cue lever. It works quite well, but it’s an entirely manual process and might catch you off guard if you’re accustomed to the typical set-it-and-forget-it variety.Hope you don't mind if I hit you up if I run into trouble!
I'm excited to mess around and learn more on it. I'd like to get a direct drive eventually and wasn't planning on another table any time soon, but it was a good deal and I figure even if I decide to not keep it, I won't be out much if any money and can enjoy seeing if it clicks for me. No tax and free shipping made it sweeter too.Of course! Also, beware the undamped cue lever. It works quite well, but it’s an entirely manual process and might catch you off guard if you’re accustomed to the typical set-it-and-forget-it variety.
It’s a weird-ass little table, but I’m fond of it.
Looking forward to you sharing your thoughts on the switch.Beauty coming in:

I hear you on that, but the rack has a tinted glass door and is in the back of the room, so I barely see it.All black and one silver would drive me crazy
There’s always room for improvement in a stereo, whether it’s the sonics or the aesthetics.I hear you on that, but the rack has a tinted glass door and is in the back of the room, so I barely see it.
The Arcam being grayish drives me nuts more than the silver.
Any initial thoughts on the XP-17?View attachment 197352
Snug as a bug in a rug.
lol. My cables are much more modest (at this point). I did slightly splurge on ELAC sensible cables when I got the NAD… the Sony had some crazy bs connectors.I hope you peasants don't find this latest acquisition embarassing, and I don't mean to flaunt my wealth, but alas:
