Staying at the Ruby Molly, I feel like we got the last room in the whole city lol

Yeah Dublin is crazy hard city to get a room in over the summer season full stop, never mind with a big event like that on. The tourist numbers here are huge for the size of city. At least you got central, it’s about a half hour walk to Croker for the gig from where you are. It looks like a nice hotel and you’re just around the corner from my work lol!

Where you are is a sort of former rough inner city area that’s in the throws of gentrification, it’s in and around the old fruit markets. It’s fine during the day but keep your wits about you and avoid too many back alleys at night and you’ll be fine.

Yeah I think we lucked out with the hotel location. Looking forward to being able to walk most places! I've lived most of my adult life in San Francisco, New York, and Los Angeles so no stranger to big city sketchiness lol but I doubt I will be out late much at night since the kiddo will be travelling with us

I'll keep you posted when I'm in town and maybe we can grab a beer!
