No, the offense wasn't doing much until Jota scored. That's his first goal since January. He and Diaz needs to step up because Salah draws a double team every time now and it's an effective defense. Defense did well with Jones stepping in for Trent. The pole helped keep Everton scoreless. It should've been 0-1.

My issues with the officiating was not giving a red on the studs up foul on McAllister and not giving a yellow to Pickford for taking out Nunez after the whistle was blown. That's the same thing he did that took out Van Dyke's ankle a few years ago and it was pretty reckless. But it's cool. We got a clean sheet and they haven't won at Anfield this century.
