Have only been watching highlights since the matches start at 9pm EST. But I also want to see Messi and company win. I was surprised that he’s never won the Copa during his time in the national team.
 
I’ve been pro England all tournament long but will be supporting Italy in the final because of my family roots.

Somewhat hypocritically, I actually want Argentina to win the Copa America final even though I’m Brazilian (mostly so people will shut up about Messi not being eligible for GOAT status unless he wins silverware with Argentina).

I have so much respect for Southgate and this team which seems full of pretty exemplary young men with a real courage to follow through on their convictions.

Depressingly though when it comes to the match going England fans nothing ever really changes…

A bit pathetic but in some ways that’s par for course, you hear about that kinda shit all over Europe on away days, particularly at club level.

It’s more the assaults and verbal attacks on opposition fans, particularly kiddies, that disgusts me.
