I love the kid! I hope he gets a chance to shine. If not I hope Spurs will loan him to a mid tier team like Palace in the future

He should suit Conte’s preferred system with a back 3 and spurs have needed an upgrade there!

As to Zinchenko I’d imagine he’d have stayed at city to play left back. Guessing competition for Xhaka with the ability to cover Tierney if he’s not available.

Arteta seems to have big plans for him. Albeit, not sure how it'll actually play out but I've seen left back and midfield getting tossed around for him....I guess we will see

I can’t see left back in your team tbh. I honestly consider Tierney to be alongside Robertson as the best conventional left back in the league. Beyond cover I can only see Zinchenco playing there in that particular Guardiola system where left back is actually really more inside left midfield back. Also let’s be fair he couldn’t get in that city team as the left of the central attacking midfielders ahead of both Silvas, Foden and even Gundogen when they are being a bit more conservative.

Also why leave city to still be a left back? It’s a bit like Jesus, if that’s the case just stay at city play 25 games and win tonnes of trophies. You only leave to be the man in your favoured position.

Seems like he will fill in for Tierney when needed but mainly competing with the out of place Xhaka for his spot in midfield
