It Could Get A Bit Messi In Here - The Football Thread.

Is it me or do a lot of the groups look kinda meh. There’s only really 2 or 3 that look like there is anything serious riding on them. C & H, maybe G at a bit of a stretch.
I kind of agree with you but I also think that most groups look really balanced. It's a fair draw across the board. I think A could end up being the most unexpectedly excting group.

Dunno. Ajax have heomaraged players this summer, Rangers are shit but have had a bit of joy with the counter in Europe. Napoli have also lost a few stars in the summer. My money is on Liverpool walking it.

In less happy news Southampton wear red and white so the vomit kit will be getting its second airing on Saturday morning. I’d better lay off the drink Friday night, don’t want to be seeing that with a hangover…
Joe does not disappoint in his assessment of PL play. I'm still dying over vomit kit.

Depends on how injuries are still hitting Liverpool. Serie A teams always feel like a tough draw. At least we dodged La Liga for once. It's definitely an ideal draw for us. Maybe we'll make it out of group stage to then get bounced by Real Madrid again along the way. Agree that C, G, & H will be the better groups to watch. Premier teams fared well in their opponents.

I used to feel that way, probably because of a 90s hangover, serie a was on free tv here then and was the best. Plus that awesome Juventus team that we drew in Europe every year. In reality they’ve not had a team that’s been any use in a European level since 2015.

I think in your favour Napoli have never been top level, more dangerous dark horse and they’ve lost two of their best players in Ruis and Koulabaly.

Preparing yourself for the huns away, the atmosphere in ibrox will be white hot.
