It Could Get A Bit Messi In Here - The Football Thread.

Not to mention young Charlie Patino looks like dog shit and may never recover from this performance mentally. Arsenal should just make the loan permanent at this point lmao

I knew this day was coming, based on his history with Dortmund, but I didn't think it would be so soon. But I have to respect him going out on his terms. It's tough to change after so many years of stability. I guess I'll approach this like I have with Salah. Just enjoy them while I have the chance. YNWA.

It feels like the end of an era. It will be similar when Pep goes too. The next appointment will be huge for Liverpool because they’re not a club that’s going to fare well with managerial churn or spending big.

I mean if Klopp can run out of energy, I am hopeful Sullivan will feel the same.

Sorry, that line is for North Americans only

Interesting that it’s not just Klopp leaving.
Maybe they’re tired of FSG?

Maybe but it's more they know the next administration is probably wanting to bring in their own people. Pep Linders isn't getting the job and Klopp said in his video that the others needed to get their managerial careers going.

It’s pretty standard that managers in football have their own trusted group of 5 or 6 staff that tend to come and go with them. The rest is usually made up of club men. Once klopp was going they always would be irregardless, the new manager deserves the chance to fill those posts with people who he trusts to implement his vision.
