Such an iffy year for BdO. Rodri won the league, won the Euros with Spain but didn't win the CL. Vinicius won the league, won the CL, scored in the CL final, but had a poor Copa America. Criteria is a toss up. Plus those who vote on the BdO are not making rational choices. Jude and Vinicius likely split the Madrid PR votes so Rodri gets it. It's not completely undeserved for Rodri.

Anyways, BdO is completely pointless since they didn't award it to Lewandowski retroactively in for his 2020 season. Highway robbery of the highest order.

Yeah if he’ll come mid season he’s a contender for sure. The worry would be that he’s a well thought of coach who plays nice football at a big fish in a smaller pond but hasn’t had to deal with the pressure of United. Sound familiar? We really need someone with a big enough character to take the club on their shoulders and that’s a big ask and there are not too many of those around.

Going to watch a bit of footy on the tv tonight as my FFT team got 4 stars last month after that terrible start so I can stop sulking
