Can’t play for ever. Before penos they used to just keep replaying in the FA Cup, it was mental, and European games have in the past before them been decided on a flip of the coin.

Hockey, like most of your sports, is much higher scoring. A football match could go on for bloody ages, especially as that type of jeopardy tends to make teams defensive, extra time is nearly always shit and it was even more shit when they trialled golden and silver goals for a while.
