Saw that! But also they are saying Bernie Grandma is cutting them while CDJ says he's not involved in these.Seems like there will be 4 releases this time and according to this Bandcamp page BG is still involved.

Hal's is great, it's his son running it now, but selection can be limited and prices are up, the dude from Seeed in Osaka also a nice guy. ArtRock in Kyoto is good but haven't been in awhile, - HMV Shinjuku just moved to a new location that kinda sucks, also the HMV retail stores are really moving to new product only - have to say Disk Union is really the only place I buy records, I like Judgment Records as Hanawa-san is another OG jazz legend, but his prices have gone nuts - - koenji is a dope little town so worth visiting Ogawa-san, he's chatty and likes tourists, but don't expect to walk away with any minty treasures (personally I think he grades way too aggressively, been saying this for a while). pro-tip Disk Union doesn't list new releases on their website for a week (I think as ive definitely seen things in the new release bins that aren't online) so you may luck into some stuff. There's also a Jet Set in Shimo-kitazawa so you don't have to go to Kyoto for that, but their stuff is basically all new. If you've got cash and want to spend on the best stuff go see Jaro, but he's hard to deal with and find stuff and have to pay in cash.Amazing. Thanks!! I also had Hal’s and Nakano on my list, but this is a great resource (recognizing some might be out of date)
looks like hanawa-san from Judgement records is involved now....he is OG disk union crew and did most of the Think! records stuff...Saw that! But also they are saying Bernie Grandma is cutting them while CDJ says he's not involved in these.
How long have you been there?picked up the latest Craftman release today - the second record on the 'Smile" label - here
It really is an enjoyable trio record, a nice listen and a quality product - its a needle drop, they say so on the obi, they also say the original didn't have an obi and this one is made to look like what they (he? hanawa-san) thought it might look like - so much apologizing on a record is next level Japanese...but 5500 yen is getting out of hand, these new record prices are getting nuts....but and I know I say this a lot but im probably out of the game for awhile....also decided to leave Japan in the next few months....been a fun experience but Mexican food and American beef is way better than records....
That bandcamp page is a French importer. CD Japan have the description coming from the record label. I would rely on that.Saw that! But also they are saying Bernie Grandma is cutting them while CDJ says he's not involved in these.

think this is just a one-off...its a super rarity, and I like Hanawa-san so happy to support him, but I think we've reached peak j-jazz....although glad they are reissuing some real TBM rarities...Do you have more details on this new serie?
