One of rock and roll’s most notable riffs....Smoke on the Water.

Since my wife is still laid up with her on going knee-healin, sometimes she has to sit and listen through entire albums she may not be that into. Today was Deep Purple - Made in Japan, but she was digging it.
“Wow, the singer really wails.......that organ is awesome....oh listen to the drummer.....sweet guitar solo....man that bass player is great too.”
A solid description of Deep Purple. It’s not like she’d never heard them, but this record is such a great display of their talents as players, just fantastic, she couldn’t help but appreciate it. I might have to play this next month too, it is one of my all time favorite live records.
