Hampshire and Foat - Galaxies Like Grains of Sands is one of my favorite discoveries in the past year or so. I'll have to check this one out too.
now that's what i call a hype sticker!I'm sure it will still be around for a while, but the Greg Foat arrived today and it says limited to 1000 copies on the hype sticker (TBH thought it was a standard unlimited reissue). If you do want it, you might not want to wait too long.

I'm lololing at "epic wide-screen British jazz". I prefer all my jazz to be epic wide-screen.now that's what i call a hype sticker!

I got a zerostat for christmas (exciting gifts!) and it definitely helps with the static stuff.Have to say, listening to it now & it sounds pretty astonishing but I need a bit more acid for the visuals (Lovely record).
It needs a clean though. It amazes me that they have spent money on a fantastic thick gatefold and even provided a nice thick archival outer sleeve, but not bothered to spend the extra 5 pence on a poly lined inner. Just comes with a standard black paper one with some free static electricity.
If I could harness the static from my records, could I reduce my heating bills
Folks in the US, here's the Dusty Grooves page for it: Mike Taylor : Mandala (LP, Vinyl record album)
Not available to preorder or anything yet, but I'm keeping an eye out!
DG also has Black White & Raga for sale from JiB, and I gotta say, it's pretty great. Listened to it earlier today, worth checking out.
This put a smile on my face. It’s the music I grew up on.
