Bonjour from Paris! Stumbled into Sam’s Records today and marveled at the quaintness of the shop, but more importantly how it’s easily the most well stocked, expertly curated, and charming jazz focused record store I have ever been too. I’ve never had such difficulty picking and choosing a batch of records to leave with. This is what I ended up with. Sam’s records is truly a gem, we’re lucky to have them and the work they do for jazz releases!

On first listen I liked it more than Shaman but not quite as much as An Angel Fell.

Finally ordered a copy of Pat Martino's "Baiyina" after discovering it is back in print, and wondering when a company will finally rerelease some of his other LP's... "Desperado" is sorely out of print.

I just did the same. I'm not really into many jazz guitarists but Martino is an exception.

Check out Bandcamp, you can get a bundle through them, might be a cheaper way to go for those in US.

Ahhh, bummer. Holding off on those myself, unless it's a must have. Maybe I'll pick a few up if they get discounted down the road, but wasn't overly impressed with them.

Yea I haven’t been a fan. I gave up after Ptah and The Awakening were mediocre at best
