July 2019 Vinyl Challenge

Had to spend some time with a plumber in the house today - the pipes in this house are old and galvanized steel so they are going bad messing with all the valves. We will have to repipe soon.

Then I had to pack as we are headed to Illinois in the morning...and various record stores will be visited. I'll get to tomorrow's theme, but I'll be away till Saturday and will have to catch up - hopefully with some new finds.

Day 16 - Record Of The Year (thus far)

I’m still crazy about this record. Still listen to it a few times a week, or at the very least multiple cuts from it.

Shabaka, Danalogue and Betamax churned out quite the adventure of an album. Bookends that perfectly open and close the album and the meat in between is top notch.

This is an album to dream and dance to.
And see them live if they come near.
The energy is outrageously contagious.
