Awesome. Are you using the Saga as a switcher & preamp into the Kingko?

Yep! I was previously using a standard Loki and a SYS passive pre-amp, but I really missed having a remote control for volume/mute, so I upgraded both. Pretty happy.Awesome. Are you using the Saga as a switcher & preamp into the Kingko?
I've been thinking about picking up the Lokius mostly to use with my CD player, how do you like it?
No complaints. I liked the Loki Mini as well; it helped smooth out a couple of room quirks without having to go full digital correction. The Lokius is the same deal, just more granular. I spun a few records to get it dialed in, pretty happy with it.I've been thinking about picking up the Lokius mostly to use with my CD player, how do you like it?
LOL, I've never really understood the opposition to an EQ based on the arguments given. If you don't want one that's fine, but if you're willing to move your speakers around, get room treatments, dampen this that and the other thing to get just the right sound you're looking for.............why not an EQNo complaints. If you're morally opposed to tone controls its not going to change your mind, but I'm fond of it.

Might as well put a BT transmitter on your deck.GIVE ME DIGITAL ROOM CORRECTION OR GIVE ME DEATH
Got my new old gear set up. Listening to Muddy Waters - Father and Sons to give it a test spin.

I saw it on Craigslist which I'd normally avoid, but it was from this retired guy whose hobby is fixing up vintage gear. He doesn't normally sell anything, just does it for himself, but needed to make space because his wife asked him to downsize a few things. Specifically he's focused on reel-to-reel (has over 20 that I saw) and had an insane set up in his basement and a very nice one in his living room. He said he has over a thousand reels he's collected over 40 years. Lots of fun to chat with and see all his gear when I went to check out the NAD.I love those old NAD amps. Hell, I love some of the new ones too.
She's got a Jordans wall and a TT?!The Daughter has her room looking nice! Picked up that table in the saddle for her for Christmas, and she's using my old amp and speakers. Sounds pretty great for a starter!

Yeah, just got that shelving from Ikea. Worked out great, better than I thought it would. Coulda done without her getting interested in the shoes, but only has a couple pairs she got for birthdays/christmas. Does a great job of taking care of her stuff. She's got a Jordans wall and a TT?!
That's sick. I want that room.

Maybe got myself a 1 x 4 Kallax while there. Lady told me I needed more storage, but then told me I should probably quit buying records. I'm not good with mixed messages so just went with the first part.
Here's my latest and most favorite (so far) system configuration.
1. Vincent Audio SV-500 with stock tubes. I tried rolling the 12AX7 with all kinds of NOS tubes but the JJ ECC83s sounds best.
2. Wharfedale Diamond 240s that I got for a song after they were damaged (cosmetic) during shipping.
3. My old faithful Music Hall mmf 1.5 turntable with a dirt cheap but amazing sounding AT91 phono cartridge.
4. Another dirt cheap component, the TCC TC-750 phono preamp with upgraded power supply. Love this thing, as you can see from my previous post.
Happy Listening!
