Let's See Your Collection! Any Size!

You could always do a couple Kalax 5X5 like @Lee Newman on the same wall and probably be set for life or one of those and stack your two 2x4 ? But hardwood is certainly more solid. Just beware that wood prices have gone through the roof recently.
Yeah, I have a friend giving me a quote on a wall to wall 3 bins high. Hoping that will be enough and not crazy expensive. Would like to leave the upper wall open.

Well a full wall would give a you a diffuser as opposed to a bass trap ;)
Unless they were all empty, right? :) I'd like to give myself a limit at some point, but we'll see how that goes. I would also like to have useful space on top of the shelving, so this will be the way to go I think. So many options, but the price of wood has limited some of my ideas. Pretty happy with it for now though!

Exactly, those genres tend to happen in listening sessions, If I'm in a Jazz mood, I play a lot of Jazz and so on ;)
I have separate sections for Indie (basically stuff from the past 20 years), Jazz, Rock (older stuff plus newer albums from those older bands), Blues, and Singer-Songwriter/Solo Artist. And within Jazz, I've created a subsection of 'audiophile' pressings since there's been so much of that over the past few years and that's the stuff I'm most likely to want to spin.

EDIT: Forgot! Also have an 80's and a large Prog/Psych-Rock section.

Ah, that’s what I forgot—80s! I have a section for that as well. Always thought that was weird so good to see I’m not alone 😃
