Los Angeles Shows, Vinyl Life, Meetups, and Earthquakes

I was legitimately terrified by how long the one today lasted. I was a little one when the Northridge quake happened in the early 90s so this was the longest/largest earthquake I've experienced and can remember.

I felt largely pretty calm about this one, I was in a very crowded restaurant and it was silent for about a minute and then everyone started cheering.

Just saw John Vanderslice play a show to 25 people in a living room in Crenshaw. It was rad. He recognized me from some emails we exchanged and apologized for not being able to be a part of my upcoming tape comp and I told him it was fine again and I gave him a set of my music pins. If you were like me and curious about Undertow’s living room shows but never bought a ticket, stop doing that and get a ticket next time David Bazan or Chris Staples or Johnny V do a living room show in your city.
