201 for a year isn’t bad with all their swap choices. I’m probably going to do it. Praying Isbell is June ROTM though, I mean I have others on order but I variant collect for him.

Well, I went ahead and signed up for three months with the 40% discount. $17 a record seemed like a good deal. After reading the last few pages of this thread it looks like folks are pretty frustrated with MRC. There at least seemed to be enough interesting swaptions to make it worthwhile.

My big gripe with them is that they have too many Dualtone artists as ROTM. I'm also not the biggest fan of Dualtone's roster so that is probably on me. Their discovery used to be really good but even that has gone down hill a bunch. I wish they would do more folk and country but I'm probably in the minority.
That's a good price for MRC. My complaints with MRC were around curation, lack of exclusivity (they will repress for non-club members for hot titles), their crappy online portal, and value. This at least addresses value really well and the swaptions apparently improved. $17 a record or so makes many more records ok and likely cheaper even if they do make it available to non club members.

How do I contact Magnolia record club? Preferably like an email form or something. I had signed back up last month on accident when looking at the member portal, then cancelled it. It said cancellation pending. So I didn’t think much of it. Then I got an email that my records shipped and was very confused. So I tried to contact though a random email I found online but I haven’t heard back, and I’m not sure it’s legit. I logged back on, it still says pending. I don’t really want to stay subscribed right now. Not sure what to do.

Yes. I didn't notice it, but they did a couple weeks ago. But I believe I was only charged for one record and they're sending me two? One is The Milk Carton Kids and I don't even really know who they are...
