Cassie was is based out of NY. Recorded and had a relationship with Diddy. Love the sparse synths on this. Not sure there's any album like it. This one is just for you @Potato-Socks.

Pinkerton is the Weezer album I think of as being critically dismissed and initially labeled a “bomb” initially upon its release only later to become a beloved cult hit amongst the Weezer faithful.Day 4 - Bombers

Though I guess there were probably a few folks with unfairly high expectations for this album too.
