Movies

I was born on a Saturday, so if we're talking:

The #1 film of the previous week - The Santa Claus

The #1 film of the following week that had opened that Friday - Disclosure

All in all, some hot GARBAGE.

Pretty happy with the number one from my birthday.

Still annoyed my wife wouldn’t let my Daughters middle name be Ripley. That was my 1st R rated movie that my dad took me to see .

You shoulda been born exactly 13 years earlier 😉. I have seen The Santa Clause on more than one occasion and I will say if you are 12 year-old Home Improvement fan that movie was pretty okay. I don’t remember Disclosure at all though.

It was a Michael Crighton book with Michael Douglass and Demi Moore where Demi was the boss and sexually harassing him. Kind of like a corporate version of fatal attraction

Ah yeah the “edgy” reverse sexual harassment movie. I remember that after all. I don’t think I actually ever saw it but I remember it existed.

Has anyone seen Sound of Metal? I got a ticket to stream it from Philadelphia Film Fest tonight.

also found a $5 off discount code from googling since PFF charges $15 per film: PFF29FRINGE

I almost forgot, but decided to use this code to rent Pink Skies Ahead to watch this weekend. thanks again!

I was a huge Crichton fan around sixth grade and read most every book by him. I remember my mom getting me Disclosure for my birthday without knowing its plot. My dad read the back cover and it disappeared from the house so quickly. Of all the things my parents "shielded" me from, Disclosure was one I didn't ever pursue because office politics sounded dull as heck to sixth-grade me.
