So Canadian Blues is a different thing.

The fest started out as a local blues festival back in the day but with time it grew to a large scale music festival featuring international acts but the organizers decided to keep the name as it is a recognized brand in the community.

not sure how you have a blues fest in 2025 without real blues musicians like Joe Bonnamassa, but you do you, Canada...

I saw at least half of those bands at radio station festivals in the late 90s / early 2000s. Where's Good Charlotte???

Some time in the early 2000's, we drove to Pittsburgh to see a few Mets / Pirates games. On the way back, we stopped in Hershey to spend a couple of days there ( my kids were maybe 8 & 10 or so)

Went to Hersheypark and saw that Nickleback, 3 Doors Down and Puddle of Mudd were playing at Hershey Stadium that night. We didn't have tix, nor did we try to get them.

We were waiting to ride the Racing Coasters and it was our turn to board. The attendant held up the people in the rows behind us and we saw some band members from 3DD and PoD walk up the exit ramp, and get into the train behind us. The people who had been waiting to ride were rightfully annoyed, but it was funny to us that we got to ride with them.
