N&G AoTM /// Vol. 66 - December 2024 /// The Tragically Hip – Up To Here

Millhaven Institution: Millhaven Institution - Wikipedia

The song "38 Years Old" by The Tragically Hip refers to an escape from the prison. The opening lines of the song say "12 men broke loose in '73, from Millhaven Maximum Security." There was such an escape in 1972.

So, maybe the 1972 from the Chris Evert photo? And Fully Completely is the right band, but wrong album...

Sorry, that was in reference to this one:

So, we're a Canadian band (Keanu / Michael Cera).
We're a 5 piece.
There was a 1972 jail break at Millhaven featured.
The Tragically Hip had a version of their song Courage on the (canadian) film The Sweet Hereafter.
It's a Good Life if You Don't Weaken is on the Hip album Yer Favourites.
The Tragically Hip opened for Page Plant in 1995...

No idea what's up with Graham. Or Jumper?

"It's a Good Life if You Don't Weaken" is on the album In Violet Light.
Yer Favourites is a compilation.

Points deducted.
