Ohio artist. Ohio in the name of the record. Dan Auerbach has produced them in the past and they're also the backing musicians on the latest Black Keys tour.

Not sure on the Nick Cage or shoes clues, but look at the colors on this record -

The more I think about it, the more I'm thinking my original Buffalo Killers guess is correct. The movie Mom and Dad came out on September 24th, 2017 in the US. The Buffalo Killers album was released on September 20th, 2017!

And look at the shoes one of the band members is wearing on the cover:



That's two more clues that "fit".
