I've been listening to the new Kate NV album, Room for the Moon this morning. Only partially through it, but I think it's safe to say if TNT worked for you, this album checks many of the same boxes.

I would have picked them for underrated bassist in the monthly challenge thread if I wasn't putting the album on for family dinner . Not sure it's up your alley but who knows.

I'm only 8 minutes in and this is the most entertaining drum-video-guy analysis I've ever seen. And I lol'd at his comment at around 6 minutes. All drummers probably did.

LOL! Lightening Bolt rip! Though it probably couldn’t be further from Tortoise on the Rock spectrum. It’s very noisy punk rock a lot of racket made by just 2 people. You will either really love it or you will hate it. I am genuinely curious what your take is gonna be.

I think I mentioned it earlier, but I actually ordered that album along with my TNT, which is a pretty funny coincidence.

I need to pick up Hypermagic Mountain. The Thrill Jockey reissue of Wonderful Rainbow is great but I think I need to be able to spaz out to “Captain Caveman” on wax.

Semi-bummer
I order the clear with black & white hi-melt but got the plain black vinyl....
It was the same price so I'm going to leave at that, the music is fantastic regardless of the color of the vinyl.
