Needles & Grooves AoTM /// Vol. 17 - November 2020 /// Les Discrets Septembre et Ses Dernières Pensées

I was going to guess that From Somewhere Invisible one when I saw spoken word, but no other connections jumped out at me, what makes it fit?

I can hardly connect to Esmerine....

  1. Esmerine - Lost Voices (Esmerine was co-founded by percussionist Bruce Cawdron (Godpseed You! Black Emperor) and cellist Rebecca Foon (Thee Silver Mt. Zion, Saltland) in 2001. >>> Jessica Moss who colaborated with Oiseaux-Temête is part of Thee Silver Mt. Zion)

That clue was supposed to help narrow down the country of origin, esmerine is a French girls name I believe

Ok, I went a bit too far...

By the way. I like to see Ez3kiel and Mendelson in the list @dhodo shared. Mendelson is probably a bit hard to get into if you don't understand the lyrics. Ez3kiel is pretty amazing and eveb better on stage (from what I've been told, i never had the chance to see them).

Mendelson leader Pascal Bouaaziz is also part of Bruit Noir. It's a really difficult album to get into and more than 2h long. Ez3kiel albums are easier even thought they are different one from another. It's, let's say, an orchestral electronic post rock band.

Two hours is how long every album should be in my opinion
