Needles & Grooves AoTM /// Vol. 19 - January 2021 /// Tim Hecker - Radio Amor

Hmm, people frequently list bands under the "artist" descriptor, but dukey did post the Spongebob video.
again.... that spongebob video just like the last one was literally just meant as a joke at the fact you were getting closer and i might be too scared to do drop it on the right day

Ok so I am working here and you guys keep posting stuff in this thread. This is absolutely unacceptable so please stop. I am working hard.

Of those I know Tim Hecker is Canadian. Ravedeath, 1972?

Don't steal my guesses. I am not over, I am listing stuff. If it happens to be Tim Hecker ‎– Ravedeath, 1972 I'll put you on ignore for the rest my life.

Hmm, people frequently list bands under the "artist" descriptir, but dukey did post the Spongebob video.

Stop telling me I might be wrong while I am working. It just puts a lot of pressure onto my shoulders and I am not as young as people may imagine. It hurts.

Bon Iver's a band and I'm not sure I'd call them electronic adjacent? So you can probably cross that one off.

He uses auto-tune.

Oh I know, but that hints at @Skalap being on to something with his singular not plural artist thing, when I expected you to just tell them not to read into the plurality band/no-bandness of it.

Otherwise, it would point to Caribou's "Swim", again.

Not it because it's a band :
1. Radiohead - In Rainbows
2. My Chemical Romance - The Black Parade
3. Beach House - 7
6. The Unicorns - Who Will Cut Our Hair When We're Gone
8. The Beatles - Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band
9. Arcade Fire - Funeral
12. The Flaming Lips - Soft Bulletin
14. The Beatles - The White Album
17. The Flaming Lips - Embryonic
18. My Bloody Valentine - Loveless
19. Animal Collective - Strawberry Jam
21. Daft Punk - Discovery
24. Beach House - Teen Dream
28. Neutral Milk Hotel - In The Aeroplane Over The Sea
29. Radiohead - OK Computer
30. Brand New - Science Fiction
33. 100 gecs - 1000 gecs
36. Big Thief - Capacity
37. The Smiths - The Queen is Dead
41. Captain Beefhart - Trout Mask Replica (only lower because its partially a shitpost)
43. High Rise - High Rise II
45. Low - Double Negative
48. Run The Jewels - Run The Jewels 2

Not it because it's not electronic adjacent, nor electronic, nor adjacent :
5. Beyonce - Lemonade
7. Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
11. Jay Reatard - Blood Visions
13. Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp a Butterfly
15. Kanye West - Yeezus
16. Danny Brown - Atrocity Exhibition
25. Frank Ocean - Blonde
26. Vince Staples - Big Fish Theory
34. Lil Peep - Hellboy
35. Lana Del Rey - Norman Fucking Rockwell
42. Mitski - Puberty 2
44. Father John Misty - I Love You Honeybear
50. Miles Davis - A Tribute to Jack Johnson

Not because because it's a unknown rule that you can't pick twice the same artist for AotM :
32. Clarence Clarity - No Now

So it's one of these artists (I am only leaving Charli XCX here because Wiki says her musical genre is electronic adjacent even if, for me, it's way to adjacent to be considered electronica, but if Wiki says...) :
4. Oneohtrix Point Never - Garden of Delete
10. Jon Hopkins - Immunity
20. Dan Deacon - Spiderman of the Rings
22. Fennesz - Endless Summer
23. Charli XCX - Pop 2
27. Cornelius - Fantasma
31. Brian Eno - Another Green World
38. Flying Lotus - Cosmogramma
39. Bon Iver - 22 A Million
40. Jamie XX - In Colour
46. Grouper - Dragging a Dead Deer
47. Tim Hecker - Harmony in Ultraviolet
49. Oneohtrix Point Never - Replica

@duke86fan shared using Spoiler option so I am doing the same. Below are the artists I selected from the list and the AotM must be an album recorded by one of them:

Bon Iver
Brian Eno
Cornelius
Charli XCX
Dan Deacon
Fennesz
Flying Lotus
Grouper
Jamie XX
Jon Hopkins
Oneohtrix Point Never
Tim Hecker

I'll reply to myself, I like to do it. It's not Jamie XX nor Charli XCX. None released an album in the 1997-2011 period. Except if the AotM is the XX.
