I am lost. It has been an age and a half since I have stalked these AOTM threads. How does this work again?
In the first clue, he CUT his finger which makes me want to guess Cut Copy “In Ghost Colours”. But then he became an AMPUTEE which could be a clue for Harvey Danger - that dude is giving off serious Flagpole Sitta vibes.
But both of those are out of print, so I will reserve my official guess for laters.

I don't have a guess but it might not be a cover of Auld Lang Syne but perhaps a song/album/band name that is about the end of a year or the start of a new one? idk I don't listen to emo so I wouldn't even know where to begin.
