Needles & Grooves AotM /// Vol. 23 - May 2021 // Harmony Woods - Make Yourself at Home

Does AOTM mean album of the month or ARTIST of the month

So it's a solo album from someone from a band... And one of these bands we guessed (Jeff rosenstock was in ajj) did production for their bands debut
It means Album of the Month's band...as in the band that made the album of the month...i edited the clue to clarify

Joe Reinhardt, of Hop Along fame, has a lot of production and appearances on other albums.

As does Ian Farmer, of Modern Baseball fame.

Every possibility that stood out to me reached a dead end. But it still felt like there's something there so I'm posting for those with more patience and determination than me.
Checked to make sure the credits of the connection appear on discogs, and they do, so consider it confirmed that you're not heading down a dead end due to missing credit entries.

It's Friday night and I'm feeling mischievous. 😈 I was going to do this a little later...but, like Paula Cole, I don't wanna wait. There are exactly 7 unofficial hints scattered throughout this thread pertaining to the AOTM. If you can be the first to tell me the AOTM and identify the 7 non-official hints, I'll buy your copy of the AOTM for you! Happy hunting :)

Nope...you're getting colder

Harmony Woods - Make Yourself at Home?

Released in October 2019
Brendan Lukens (Modern Baseball) Played lead guitar on her first album and Discogs says that Jacob Ewald did production
From Philadelphia
There's a song on this album called "Best laid plans" which was originally from a Robert Burns poem
There's a ghost on the album cover

...I haven't figured out the arguments for the other clues yet, haha

It would have to be her newest release Graceful Rage, but I think this ticks off all the boxes.

Again, no, I will not show which boxes.

DISREGARD. I don’t know where I got the idea that it was their newest release.

Of course they appeared in it and produced it if it’s THEIR OWN SIDE PROJECT!!!

Slaughter Beach, Dog - At The Moonbase

And no I will not show my work.
Damn - I was circling this guess, too.

Their previous album, "Safe and Also No Fear" was released on the same day as Nérija's Blume, so it would be tied for "newest"- is there any chance it's that?

would the rest of your sleuthing work for that album, @Colonel_Angus ?

This must be it.

Best Laid Plans II on that also quotes the beatles song "the end": "the love you take is equal to.."

I saw that Mike Mogis from Bright Eyes produced a couple of the first aid kit albums and I was remembering that they had a new leonard cohen covers album that came out a few weeks ago and I was thinking "oh maybe there's a Robert Burn's reference in one of those Cohen songs" and "OMG - that first clue - the dude cut off his finger and needs a....FIRST AID KIT - IT'S ALL MAKING SENSE NOW."

But then I saw that Mike Mogis produced their SECOND album, and their first album is one that I'd never heard of. haha
