The production is crisp and tight with its drums but has a glossy, spacey and quirky feel with its synths and bass. It’s very old-school but feels updated! It’s like an 80’s pop classic tune that’s been very well preserved!

I love the build up to the explosive chorus, Carly Rae Jepsen’s lightweight, carefree vocals and the feel good energy of the track.

Emotion really is one of my favourite tracks of the decade. There’s something so timeless and addictive and badass and cute about the track! I love the song to bits!

Good to have you around Nathan! Are you familiar with this Record Club thing we have been doing for a couple of months here? I think you would enjoy it, you always seemed to me like a person who is open to discovering all kinds of music, and this is exactly that with an added dose of community and comradery

Thanks Agutierrezb! I am a bit familiar with these Record Club threads, but I haven’t had a good look into them. But I am loving this thread so much. It’s the most fun I’ve had so far on this forum to be honest! I love Teeeee’s personality so much and I love how funny this thread is! I was already laughing so much from the posts on the first page! 😂👌

I’m definitely open to discovering music. I’m super open actually! I’m going to be definitely joining in on the fun of these threads from now on because they have so much life and are so much fun! 😄

I’ve had a quick look at the thread and I am definitely going to be keeping an eye on it! The only non-VMP thread I only really go to and post is the ‘Hip-Hop’ thread. But now I’ll be going to the ‘PopTarts Unite!’ thread as well. Pop is so varied because you have artists like Clarence Clarity who were influenced by Justin Timberlake and SOPHIE who I think would’ve been influenced by Farah Abraham and you have artists just like Billie Eilish and Lorde who are a bit indie but still very pop. Pop is such a diverse genre! I love pop!
