This thread just led me to the realization that I’m almost five years older right now than Kiefer Sutherland was during the airing of the first season of 24, which was in the immediate aftermath of 9/11, when I was 17 and Kiefer seemed like he was already middle-aged. I mean, Kim Bauer was what, 15 in that first season? Jack Bauer became a dad at 19?! The baddest agent at CTU was only 34?!
