Needles & Grooves AoTM /// Vol. 4 - October 2019 /// Camarón de la isla - La leyenda del tiempo

Interestingly, you can triangulate using a tangent, so we're on track as far as I'm concerned. So this is a tangent but may not be a tangent. The answer is here. Or not.

All clues from here on will be math-related, so that you guys can put into use this method you just shared. I'll give a set of vectors that, when triangulated from Mexico City's main square, will point to both the artist's birthplace and the recording studio where the album was recorded.

Ok, I got a new hint for you. This one should get things going, as it will help you limit the scope of the guesses:

2015-2016 UEFA Champions League: Round of 16
2016-2017 UEFA Champions League: Groups Stage
2017-2018 UEFA Champions League: Out
2018-2019 UEFA Champions League: Groups Stage
2019-2020 UEFA Champions League: 2nd Qualifying Round

According to my researches, it's PSV Eindhoven.

2015-2016 UEFA Champions League: Round of 16 > They lost against Atl. Madrid
2016-2017 UEFA Champions League: Groups Stage > They ended at 4th position
2017-2018 UEFA Champions League: Out > Not qualified
2018-2019 UEFA Champions League: Groups Stage > They ended at 4th position
2019-2020 UEFA Champions League: 2nd Qualifying Round > They lost against FC Basel

Not a soccer guy, but there's a dude that's been playing for Eindhoven that has the last name Hendrix. Seems he's been there since 2014 according to wikipedia, which corresponds closely to the 2015-2020 dates above.

A certain Hendrix played Montreux in 1967.

EDIT: I take it back... seems like people on the web confuse Monterey with Montreux. :(
