Needles & Grooves AotM /// Vol. 48 - June 2023 /// Tony Sly - 12 Song Program

@scotthilk going to use my first official guess to guess Primus - Sailing the Seas of Cheese.

Showing my work:
1 - 5: the song American Life? Hardest part to tie in admittedly.
6: American band, American Life song title.
7: San Francisco based, also Tim Alexander's nickname "Herb"
8: Around the World = Sailing the Seas?
9: Released in 91/not Boston
10: The song Eleven? Also 13 tracks/lucky number (pulling that from my ass admittedly)
11: Haven't dug elsewhere yet, will get back on that one.
12: On the THPS1 soundtrack.
13: Superman confirming it's tied to THPS1 specifically?
14: Not any of the other guesses that were eliminated.
15: Skate shoes/skate music. Thought it might be a Warped Tour connection, but couldn't find evidence of them ever playing it.

Goldfinger had a song called "Superman" on the THPS1 soundtrack and played on the warped tour. is it that simple??? probably not.

Edit: They're also form CA which RHCP are associated with.

Edit again: There's a song called 20cents Goodbye. 8 people in cheers, 12th man of Seattle = 20

I almost guessed Hang-Ups, but my simple brain was able to tie Primus to more of the clues.

Yeah, 90s-early 00s Punk and Ska bands are my current focus unfortunately neither are things I am particularly well versed in.

When I saw the superman my immediate thought was Hello Rockview by Less Than Jake but when I checked on cogs I figured we weren’t all exwpefred to take out second mortgaged to buy it, unless @scotthilk has an inside line on an imminent repress!
