They’re all lovely and I like them all. What I’d say is that 1 is the most traditional interpretation and that their sound progresses through the three albums to become more minimal. That said the style doesn’t really change as such, more that it evolves.
I know I'm really late to the party, but was there ever info/link regarding the translations of the vocals?
I'm in love with the second song on side B -Necklace of Wrens. Looks like this is a traditional song interpretation as you've mentioned.
