Both his last album and the Ibeyi album had the same producer, Richard Russell. Who I believe is the head of XL.

He also did some work on Damon Albarn's solo album Everyday Robots. I don't think its that, since Damon is a white dude, but Damon has worked extensively with Womack (Womack featured on both Plastic Beach and The Fall by Gorillaz and Damon did production work on Womack's last album). Plus I'll use any excuse to talk about Damon

Yeah I think Damon did a lot of the songwriting with Womack for that album too. I remember I meant to buy it but never quite hot around to it...

I think Ash was the guess? The pic @bfly posted was the album cover for Ash so I just assumed

my thought was Ash since the clues pointed more particularly to that album. the video I posted a little after was one of the early singles from it.
