Needles & Grooves Fantasy Hockey League

So when are we holding the draft this year? I'm going to be extremely busy for the next few weeks so the sooner we can establish a date 📅 the better 😉
 
Anyone heard from @teefer in ... any amount of time? I'd rather not boot anyone just for not being active on the forum, but it would be great to accommodate @HAIMtime. If anyone knows of a potentially interested 12th, I'd be glad to send out another invite.

NHL opening night is October 10 and Canadian Thanksgiving is the weekend prior, so I'd also like to get the draft done by, say, the 3rd? Please let me know if you have a preference between a weeknight and a weekend during the day. I believe @BazookaTooth is in the UK, so an early afternoon in NA time seems like it would be optimal.

Dont worry about me, ive pretty much stopped watching pro sports, so im not in this anyways

I haven't heard from @teefer in a very long time...as for preferences between weeknights and weekends, I don't really have any but I agree with you that it should take place prior to Thanksgiving weekend!
 
Looks like @teefer was actually pretty active in the league last year, making more roster moves than anybody. So I'm assuming they will participate again this year, even if not on the forum.

@gregathon also hasn't been on the forum in about a year but made no moves last year and judging by their record, might not have even been setting lineups.

What do the rest of you think -- should we boot one to make room for the new player? Otherwise I'm happy to offer my spot up to @HAIMtime.

Maybe give it until end of week and see if either responds, then open it up?

As for draft time, any weekend works for me. I’m PST so I can generally work with a time works for others.

Assuming, @teefer will play again this year, how many teams does that now make?

People make alot of roster moves 🤣

Jk I'm just talking smack still until the new season since I didn't do much after my win last season lol
