Neil Young

Someone explain to me why the box for ORS 13, 14, 20 & 21 with four slabs comprising four releases has a wider spine than ORS 22, 23+, 24 & 25 with 9 slabs comprising four releases?

"He's the ultimate songwriter, singer, lead guitarist and soundscaper, he's in that Dylan zone. The way he mixes up distortion and feedback and blues and folk and rock and soul and noise is just inspirational. The way he digs solos out, just throttling his guitar is masterful. And he has the heaviest groove around. He just sits back, and where he puts the downbeat just feels so great, so perfect."

I have six NY that haven’t been cleaned or played to make the shelf yet. 👀

I've come  really close to biting on the deeply discounted official release box with Re•act•or et al. but I've had an expensive bunch of Sun Ra related orders of late, plus an impulse buy on a ridiculously cheap Jimi box, so I'm gonna have to hold off and hope they're still way on the cheap in a month or two when I've paid off all those.

I need to know more about ridiculously cheap Jimi box.

Sounds like a compilation from the recent solo tour. I wish he had included Song X as well, as that was pretty heavy with just Neil on the electric.

But don't mind me. I'm going to sit here and listen to I'm The Ocean over and over.
