I really dig the singles from the Sessa album.

I completely forgot about the new Sound of Ceres album last Friday. It's not that bad, but I feel like each of their albums since Candy Claws has been a series of diminishing returns. I'm not a huge fan of when bands have spoken words within songs either.

This Mysie EP already has come out on May 13th (yes, I'm way behind in listening to new releases). It's a nice mix of Pop, RnB and some Soul. I'm enjoying it

Finally an update after about two weeks without one. Still not feeling compelled to listen to new music lately.

🔥
  • Artificial Brain - Artificial Brain [killer death metal. This is some Demilich shit with more technicality]
  • Yaya Bey - Remember Your North Star [R&B/soul is having a great Q2. Are you feeling the vibes on this? CUZ I AM]
👍
  • Neneh Cherry - The Versions [might move to 🔥, high quality choices of guest features, very enjoyable from start to finish]
  • Horsegirl - Versions of a Modern Performance [not as good as some of y'all are making it out to be, but still enjoyable]
  • Grace Ives - Janky Star
  • Just Mustard - Heart Under
  • Max Richter - The New Four Seasons - Vivaldi Recomposed
🤷‍♂️
  • 700 Bliss - Nothing to Declare
  • Flume - Palaces [his music has grown more and more generic as the years have passed on. Not even sure I like the Polachek track]
  • Sinead O'Brien - Time Bend and Break the Bower
  • Purity Ring - graves (EP) [think the sound of the Let's Eat Grandma LP from back in late April, but far inferior]

Tried out the new MUNA album because of their association with The Phoebs and it's totally not my thing. It's funny that I was excited because the song Phoebe is on was really good and I was expecting the rest of the album to be similar. I just can't do that much auto-tune and it's just a little bit too pop for my liking.
