*we have a Rockabye Baby! playlist for Baby's bed and naptime routines and I'm very stoked to be adding this one to it!

A couple folks mentioned Gabriels and I finally got to it last week, it's really really nice. It reminds me a lot of Rhye or How To Dress Well mashed together with some gospel and classic soul elements.

Strong start to Q4, even if I haven't listened to much. My top50 has already been impacted significantly.

🔥
  • Björk - Fossora [her best since Medulla. A marvel, really]
  • Nicholas Craven x Boldy James - Fair Exchange no Robbery [is there anything Mr. 227 is involved in that ISN'T of quality? Hip hop N&G fam, where we at wit it?]
👍
  • Freddie Gibbs - $oul $old $eparately
  • Billy Woods - Church
🤷‍♂️
  • Shygirl - Nymph [a few things I like here, but weak vocals and a lack of fully developed songs have me feeling ultimately underwhelmed]
👎
  • Bladee - Spiderr [I'm too late/not of the generation for cloud rap, so it's not the album, it's me. Still not a fan]
🤮
