New Kali Uchis is pretty great on first listen! I find it hard to really connect with non English music but her vocals are probably the best they have ever been and the groves are electric!
It's pretty good

It's been a long minute since I've considered P4K a valid standard for music reviews anymoreFirst BNM of the year.
This was my favourite for the week:
Will check it out. Nothing besides that new Kali Uchis has really grabbed yet this week but also haven’t had a lot of time to listen to new stuff. I liked the beats in the new Arrested Development but they weren’t anything special. Even the Qobuz album of the week (Bill Ryder-Jones) just sort of seemed to be there.
On the other hand, I’ve worked my way up to Lipstick Traces by the Manics and am still enjoying the heck out of their discography!

This Brittney Spencer album is weird and I don't know how I feel about it.
I won't say more for now. I can't decide if it's weird or I'm old. I asked my daughter to let me know what she thinks. I'll be curious what everyone thinks of it. It's not bad, just weird. In fact there are two songs near the end that will probably be songs I listen to all year long.I haven't gotten to it yet; this makes me even more curious now.
