Kurt Vile? Really!? I was unaware of that one.

So far, this week, I have checked out the new Shame and dug it. Not my usual vibe but worth checking out if you like punk music that borders on metal.

Buck Meek was okay, the track Second Sight really stood out but the rest was just okay. This is the way I feel about Big Thief in general.

Patricia Brennan is nice background music but not much else.

Several songs into Daniel Durack’s Maquishi and I quite like this.

Try sticking with that buck meek... I wasn’t so sure at first but found myself playing it all day on repeat yesterday. “Candle” is also a great track

I'd like to highlight some of my favorites from last Friday's releases (apart from the great shame album).

I've enjoyed listening to the Midnight Sister album "Painting the roses". Sometimes her voice gives me some Aldous Harding feeling. Some great songs on this like "Sirens" or "Satellite". It feels like a different kind of dream pop. Definetely worth checking out.

Also the Daniel Knox album "Won't you take me with you" seems very good to me. Reminds me a little bit on artists like Nick Cave, Rufus Wainwright or Mark Lanegan. Great melancholic sounds and an amazing voice.

The album "Dark" of German band Blackout Problems was enjoyable for me too. Very energetic, with some synthie pop/ Indie style.
