New Music Friday!

I will give this a try even though I haven't liked the singles. That first album checked all the right boxes for me and seemed to be heavily influenced by bands like The Breeders and Veruca Salt.
They’ve released 4 albums, are you referring to 2018’s Interloper? I only ask because some think their 3rd album, 2022’s Household Name was their first

Momma is getting better on the 3rd listen. "Last Kiss" brings the guitars, some of the other songs are starting to stand out a bit.
As you had said prior, I didn't enjoy the new  Momma singles much either. But, surprisingly, I enjoyed the new album a lot more than I thought I would. Definitely a standout for the week for me.

Sam Gendel and Nate Mercereau's digi-squires was a pleasent surprise this week. Gendel has been been more miss than hit for me, but I've really enjoyed the little bit of Mercereau's output I've heard before this. It's an odd yet comforting album, that I've only just finished a first listen to and will definitely be revisiting soon. Probably after I watch Daredevil, in fact.
