Lily Seabird - Trash Mountain is a really pretty/sad album. You should check it out.
I will give this a try even though I haven't liked the singles. That first album checked all the right boxes for me and seemed to be heavily influenced by bands like The Breeders and Veruca Salt.New Momma is scratching the itch that I thought Men I Trust was going to. Light, airy, slacker 90s vibes. Can’t beat it.
They’ve released 4 albums, are you referring to 2018’s Interloper? I only ask because some think their 3rd album, 2022’s Household Name was their firstI will give this a try even though I haven't liked the singles. As you had said prior, I didn't enjoy the new Momma singles much either. But, surprisingly, I enjoyed the new album a lot more than I thought I would. Definitely a standout for the week for me.Momma is getting better on the 3rd listen. "Last Kiss" brings the guitars, some of the other songs are starting to stand out a bit.
Very good album indeed!New Momma is scratching the itch that I thought Men I Trust was going to. Light, airy, slacker 90s vibes. Can’t beat it.
This one's next on my list. I'm listening to the new Panchiko right now and it's got a lot of those vibes as well.New Momma is scratching the itch that I thought Men I Trust was going to. Light, airy, slacker 90s vibes. Can’t beat it.
