New Music Friday!

This popped up on my Twitter feed and I decided to listen based solely on the album art and WHEW it's fire

Not sold on it 🤷‍♂️
It reminds me of the Chicano Batman album from last year; listening to it, I enjoy the sound a lot, but the songs don't make individual impressions on me. It's good, but too scattered for me (and I usually can put up with scattered).

Radar List for this Friday 4.16.21:

Born Ruffians - Pulp
Cannibal Corpse - Violence Unimagined
Eomac - Cracks
Liquid Tension Experiment - LTE3
Low Island - If You Could Have It All Again
Merzbow - Ensemble Drums
Spectral Wound - A Diabolic Thirst
Suffocate For Fuck Sake - Fyra
The Armed - ULTRAPOP

Anything I've missed?

Gonna be mostly checking out unfamiliar stuff this week, I think, so I'm appreciative in advance for the posts ahead.

Only thing I'm really itching for off the top of my head is the self-titled Gotham release (Talib Kweli & Diamond D).

Yeah, despite a decent-sized radar list, I'm not anticipating too much, as most of the artists listed are ones I'm either not too familiar with or ones I am but haven't been overly impressed with in the past. Hopefully something will surprise me! And I will have to add the Gotham album to my list! Thanks!

The Low Island album is actual the band's debut LP 😉👍

I have been really enjoying Born Ruffians - Pulp. All 3 albums the band released this year have been fairly experimental when compared to their back catalogue. Really cool to see them still trying out new stuff after 10+ years in the scene.
