Yes, her thinking is dumb even if intended for it to be lighthearted.

It also shows how little she knows of hockey and demonstrates poor respect for their opponents. The Habs have already shown they can mount an epic comeback and string a bunch of wins together. If you're Tampa right now, the last thing you want is give the Habs any amount of confidence because they have nothing left to lose.

Frankly, this is exactly the kind of thing a bad mayor says in a movie right before it blows up in their face. (I wish, but point stands)
 
The Minnesota Wild have signed forward Nick Bjugstad to a one-year, $900,000 contract, the team announced Monday.

Bjugstad was set for unrestricted free agency this summer following his six-year, $24.6-million contract he signed with the Florida Panthers in 2014.

The Pittsburgh Penguins traded Bjugstad to the Wild last September. He notched 17 points in 44 games while averaging 11:49 of ice time per contest with the Wild.


Florida drafted Bjugstad 19th overall in 2010. He's recorded 224 points in 483 career contests.
