NHL Thread Because There Isn't An NHL Thread

Are we going to like him here in Detroit?

Honestly, I have no idea. He regressed a lot at the end, but he didn't want to be in Montreal anymore. Was injured a lot in Pittsburgh but still produced at a 0.5 pt per game rate. So still has offensive upside and is pretty good at driving the play when in possession. Became a little suspect in his own end here at the end though (you'll have to ask the Pittsburgh guys if that was still the case there). But you guys didn't pay all that much for him, so it's not a big gamble.

For us, the roster space and reducing our salary load was key to the move. We want the space to play our promising young D and need to clear a little more salary to be able to play the usual LTIR tricks with Price's salary.

And sending him to Detroit looks classy on Hughes' part, so that plays into the long game of the administration appearing to treat its players with respect.

Looks like the Pens are getting new bros in the booth for tv.
Mears who was meh and Errey who I liked, are oooout.

Rumors are the radio bros will be promoted and possibly Colby Armstrong.
Stay tuned.

For your sake and @Corycm's I hope you don't get Colby Armstrong. Quite possibly the worst pro-turned-broadcaster I've seen in a long time up here, and that's saying something, considering there have been about two good ones.
