I mean you could totally see the entire team take its foot off the gas after going up 2-0. That has been their mo whenever they take a lead and it’s been like that for a long time.

Yes I see that but that's not what you said originally is it? Jarry started off the game really strong, allowing just one goal through two periods, however the whole team in front of him stopped playing in the 3rd period allowing the Hawks to climb back into the game and ultimately win it!

I mean, end of day FSG cares about selling tickets and if he can’t deliver a playoff run team, yeah.

It’s only the first game, so I’m not sweating too much. Lots of new guys that need some time to stabilize. But it’s disappointing to see them fall back into lead-blowing old habits so quickly after acknowledging last year was not great.
