Fun fact: The Penguins have gone 7-1-1 since Dec. 12, earning a league-leading 15 points in that span and finish the month of December with five-straight wins at home, outscoring opponents 16-9!

I’m aware. But because of their poor start and the competitiveness of the Metro, they’re still in 7th and a mere 3 points from a WC spot and 4 points from 2nd in the division.
