October 2020 Challenge Thread: Let’s Get Weird

Day 26: Paint It Black
Spin something that relates to the color black in some way

Another happy, upbeat gem from The Reids.

I love those guys...

The Jesus And Mary Chain - Munki

Black

And my mood is black
And my eyes are black
And my life is black
And my love is black

Turn the good thing back
Kiss the good thing back
Make the good thing back
Bring the good thing back

Nothing here belongs
Nothing here belongs
Noone here is on my side
Nothing here is mine

Guess I get done wrong
Yeah, I get done wrong
Guess I get done wrong
Yeah, I get done wrong

And the black runs deep
Yeah, the black runs deep
I guess the black runs deep
I think the black runs deep

Nothing here belongs
Nothing here belongs
Noone here is on my side
Nothing here is mine

Nothing here belongs
Nothing here belongs
Noone here is on my side
Nothing here is mine

Hey, you've been saved
Hey, you've been saved

And my mood is black
And my eyes are black
And my life is black
And my love is black

And I guess I can
And I guess I can
Yeah, I guess I can
Think I guess I can

Nothing here belongs
Nothing here belongs
No one hear is on my side
Nothing here is mine

Day 27: Eye Doctor Appointment - In honor of my annual Eye exam spin something by a bespectacled artist

Elton John - Greatest Hits

THE bespectacled artist.

Day 23 - Record Store Day
Jazz Dispensary Soul Diesel II

I pretty much only go to my local for RSD, which I haven't participated in this year. Their prices are all at least $5 more than anywhere online and when I have returned defective records there, the first question I always get is if I have a cheap turntable that won't track big warps. Used records are also always marked higher than discogs/eBay prices. Here's a great one I picked up on a RSD though.

Day 27 - Eye Doctor Appointment

LOL, that's when I go see my wife at work. Which honestly, is pretty much the only way I get to see her these days since she's insanely busy.

Anyway, this theme calls for another Elvis Costello day for me.
