I miss having a cat . Our last one was one of a kind. We only had Mochi, an 8 lbs of pure muscle mostly American bobtail, for about 9 months before he suddenly passed with cardiomyopathy but he made a big impact on us. The morning after his first night with us he presented us with a mouse as an offering and refused to be shut in the room we set up for him to adjust to our home and large dog slowly. He ended up looking at our dog, Mulder, as a mother-figure. Mochi would present his face after meals to Mulder for a cleaning and would constantly nestle himself directly under him.
